Working closely with Boffa Robertson Group, bokor architecture + interiors were engaged to finalise the exterior finishes and interior design for this large aged care facility in the Upper Hunter Region of NSW.

Built to provide care for 65 residents, the facility also has extensive outdoors and communal areas as well as a chapel, library, cafe and hairdresser. bokor aimed to create a comfortable residential ambience whilst considering the practical nature of the requirements of an aged care facility. The selection of furniture was in a light coloured timber with finishes such as textured wallparers and tactile fabrics - important elements to patients with dementia.
