The farm is at Yarrahappini, north of South West Rocks, and grows avocado, macadamia and bananas. Being off grid, we could locate the house in the best position on the farm, a great advantage. The house consists of 2 pavilions, an intimate nighttime one and an open plan living pavilion, with a covered verandah and outdoor living room to take advantage of the subtropical climate.

Local timber was used throughout internally in contrasting colours, metal cladding externally as maintenance is an issue.Services and vehicles are underground, allowing 360 degree views. The 2 pavilions are separated by a contemplative intimate garden, in contrast to the large scale landscape.
