bokor architecture + interiors were involved with the refurbishment of an existing storage space of 700 sqm into a Community Health Centre and related offices for the St George Hospital, in Kogarah.

The space allowed for a large reception area for the public, with an associated play pen, numerous consult rooms for Podiatrist, Occupational and Speech Therapists as well as Community Nursing rooms with utility rooms.

The internal footprint was expanded out onto an adjacent balcony to allow for a larger floor space for a growing number of workstations.

Graphics and colour were introduced into the layout to enliven the space within the St George Hospital and to create a dynamic space for the users of the centre and visitors to the hospital.
